About the TIMEWAVES Collection

TIMEWAVES is an interconnected collection of nine stories: five novels and four short stories. The books move through science fiction, speculative fiction, dark comedy, satire, psychological horror, alternate universes, extraterrestrial mythology, technology, romance, and surrealism.

The stories are connected, but they are also designed so readers can experience many of them independently. The collection documents the development of Jonathan David’s fiction-writing style across years of work and several different approaches to narrative.

Good morning, children. I am beginning my audiobook library, and I’ll be narrating my books myself. Children, tuck yourself up and get yourself a nice warm cup of whiskey and put on your nightlight. Let’s have fun.

So, this is an interesting collection of books. It’s nine different stories: five novels and four short stories.

I had a nightmare. I lost my phone last night. God, it was a horrifying experience. It was like the mark of the beast. How am I supposed to pay for things?

So, this is TIMEWAVES. Let me do the introduction on it. I make some beeps and cut it out so I can know where to cut it out.

TIMEWAVES and the Beginning of My Fiction Writing

Ah, TIMEWAVES. It’s a great collection of books. This is the first stuff that I wrote as an author, professionally, you could say. Some of it is like amateur writing because the stories are great, but I was learning how to articulate my style when I started with Dr. Quaazar’s Nightmare.

On this cover it says TIMEWAVES, but it’s officially called Dr. Quaazar’s Nightmare.

I write this series of books. I originally called the Ancient Astronauts books Coding Humans, like computer coding, because the whole premise of this theme is that humans were invented to be coded as a sort of avatar.

Ancient Astronauts – Anunnaki Origins

Basically, your body is genetically designed to eventually integrate technology into it so that an extraterrestrial race can then possess your body at a distance.

There’s an eternal race of beings called the Anunnaki that live inside their planet, like 20,000 years away, and they can’t leave the planet. They’ll die. They become dependent on the energy inside the planet to live.

So they created us to ultimately use our bodies from a distance. They live on their planet, but they can use entangled particles and things to send their consciousness to Earth and live here.

Their bodies are there in a state of suspension, which is why, in the fictional mythology of the story, the Egyptians thought that coffins were necessary for permanent life because their gods lived in a state of suspension in coffins. When they went back to the planet, they had to go into the coffins in the pyramids to go back to the planet.

They thought they were immortal if they lived in those coffins. That’s why, within the story’s mythology, the coffins are empty in the pyramids: they were not coffins.

That’s the Ancient Astronauts book. I describe a universe in that book.

This book is really unique because there are no conversations in it. It’s entirely narrative. Ancient Astronauts – Anunnaki Origins is entirely narrative. It just describes a universe and sets up the world.

At the end, it goes into Dr. Quaazar.

Dr. Quaazar’s Nightmare

Dr. Quaazar in Dr. Quaazar’s Nightmare is basically kind of like a story wrapped around me living in this condo that I live in.

He’s an alcoholic physicist who does an experiment that unravels the waves of time. He’s bouncing between different time waves. He’s in his body, but it’s a different body, but it’s his mind. His original mind is experiencing different bodies.

It’s kind of like Hotel California meets The Shining or something like that.

He’s drunk all the time while he’s bouncing. His consciousness is bouncing body to body. Each body he jumps into, he’s drunk. He doesn’t realize that he’s not in his regular body.

It’s a collection of different situations of him experiencing hell, basically alcoholic hell, as a scientist trying to find this woman that he loves in another dimension.

I love that book. I can’t wait to narrate it because I wrote it years and years and years ago. I like the story. It’s written differently from the way I write books now, which is fascinating.

The Evolution of My Writing Style

This collection of books is kind of like documentation of how I got skilled at writing fiction the way I do.

It took me like 15 years of typing mathematical equations to build the stamina to write books, but I’ve always had these stories. I’ve always been a storyteller and had stories in my head.

It took a while for me to develop a style for writing, and I still have a different style every time I write. I write something different every time I write.

So, I’ll be doing my audiobooks on here and I’ll be reading them. I’ll be reading the audiobooks straight from the book.

Some of the stuff is going to be restricted for adults only and members only unless you’re a member of my website because it’s not all—I mean, for me, it’s like all of it’s like 13-plus—but people are crazy right now.

They are sheltering kids way too long. They are preventing kids from seeing the truth way too long. It’s not healthy.

When a kid goes into their 20s not ever being exposed to anything violent or sexual, or eating McDonald’s, then they’re exposed to the outside world and they’re like a tree that was raised inside that is planted outside. They just get poisoned and die. They can’t handle it.

I’ve seen this. I’ve seen these kids come to town to go to college after being sheltered by their parents. They get here, they last about 30 days, they have a psychological breakdown, and they have to go home. I’ve seen this happen a lot.

It’s not good to shelter kids that much, but that’s what these social media companies do to prevent being sued. They’re like, “Well, everybody’s going to sue us no matter what we do, so we’ll only allow nothing.”

It’s a problem in our society. Entertainment has been destroyed by people’s ability to sue for nothing. But it is what it is. What are you going to do?

So, I don’t let that stand in my way. I find a way. I’m like in Jurassic Park, you know? I’ll find a way.

A Series Within a Series

Anyway, this nine-book collection starts off with Ancient Astronauts – Anunnaki Origins, which is the first in a collection of books. That’s this one up here.

That’s the first in a series of books I’m writing. I often write series within series.

This is a collection of episodic series. They’re connected but not connected. You don’t have to read them in order, but they do go in order.

Ancient Astronauts – Anunnaki Origins describes the universe. Great book.

When I first published that, it had about half a million people listen to the audiobook on YouTube. That’s when I realized that these companies do not give you even remotely close to a fair cut of what you’re generating for them. It’s disgusting.

So, if you’re going to be an entrepreneur, don’t ever put all your work on these social media platforms. They just rob the crap out of you.

Their algorithm is designed to detect me saying that, and they’re not going to show me to you because I say that. It’s a monopolized business that is preventing people from doing business for the sake of robbing businesses.

I go out in public and I do my book signings. I’m not concerned with building a following on YouTube or Instagram or anything because it’s a mirage.

You guys are all addicted to this crap. It’s not going to last forever.

I go in person. I do my book signings in person. I sell physical books. I make these books myself.

This is a handmade tiny book. I run the business myself. I control the art. It’s not subjected or tainted by people who are trying to control everybody. It’s genuine stuff.

That’s what makes my writing unique. It’s me. It’s 100% me.

Using AI as an Art and Production Tool

The only thing I use AI for is to lightly edit transcripts that I do in podcast form to write nonfiction books. Sometimes I use it to help me with a cover.

These covers were all made in Canva. All of these covers here, I did all these myself.

The Capital Murders one up here, this one I did with AI. I had AI draw it. It was my design, and I had AI draw it.

If you don’t like that, well, you will grow out of that. You can talk to a psychiatrist. It’s modern art. It’s just a form of art.

It’s my design. I had AI draw it. I wrote the book. I edited the book. I do the audiobook.

If you’re fixated on a piece of AI-generated art as being problematic, you need to seek psychiatric help immediately. There’s something wrong with you. It’s not a joke. It’s not meant to be funny. You’re sick. You need help.

I’ve met people like you in public. You’re dangerous. You’re one neurotic episode away from murdering somebody because of a picture generated by AI.

I mean, I’ve met these people in person and they have mental breakdowns there.

If you’re like that, you should seek help. There’s something wrong with you. You’re a danger to all of us because you have control issues. You think everybody should bend to your will, and if they don’t, they deserve to die.

Look, the T-shirt says it: equality. If you don’t behave the way I think you should behave, you don’t deserve to live. Equality.

Digital Zombies

All right. Anyway, TIMEWAVES.

Check yourself before you math yourself because a Khan Academy education is bad for your health.

Ancient Astronauts – Anunnaki Origins: the first in its own series, but it’s connected to these stories describing the time wave, the unraveled time wave.

Dr. Quaazar’s Nightmare: after he does the experiment that unravels the time wave with Nikola Tesla, he gets caught in this whip of alcoholic flipping between time waves on this journey of torture.

Then Digital Zombies is a short story, and it continues the technological integration of the iPhone Omega nanotechnology into our blood, which gives extraterrestrials the ability to take over our bodies and use them as avatars.

It’s kind of a quasi-transgender love story. It’s about 10,000 words, like an hour-long audiobook.

I really love Digital Zombies. I might take these short stories and turn them into full novels, depending. I really like them.

Fragmented

Fragmented is the killer’s therapist. He’s in a state of delusion, just kind of like on vacation.

It’s a short story with no point, is what I call it. I go, “It’s just a short story with no reason and no rhyme,” or something. No point, whatever.

Rainbow Blunts

Then Rainbow Blunts is a futuristic society where heterosexual sex is outlawed to prevent the transmission of the super nanocoid virus.

True story. Imagine Dr. Dre and Eminem. Eminem’s straight and Dr. Dre is gay, and Eminem has to be with Dr. Dre because he’s part of the Drip Drip Gang.

Being with the opposite sex is punishable not by death, but by an eternal suspended state of torment. Nobody does it because, if they have sex, it activates the virus.

Well, it still activates, and it turns into a society of ass-raping zombies.

Basically, Dr. Dre is not actually Dr. Dre. The guy’s name is Gangster J. Capital G-A-Y. Gangster J.

He butt-fucks humanity into extinction.

It’s a great story. It’s a comedy and a love story.

It was hard to write the sex scene between two men. I tell you, it was hard to write that.

Some people think that I’m gay when they read that. I’m like, no, it’s just acting. Like Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain, or being Batman or the Joker.

Mark of the Apple

Then you’ve got Mark of the Apple, which continues from Dr. Quaazar’s Nightmare.

Mark of the Apple is a twist on the mark of the beast in the Garden of Eden. What is the modern apple? The iPhone, basically.

13 and Drinking Blood – Ancient Love

Then you have 13 and Drinking Blood – Ancient Love, which on this book is called Masamelia.

I played around with different titles when I was first becoming an author to see what resonated and how people responded to titles and covers and things.

If you search my work, sometimes you’ll see the same book years ago under a different title, but you can’t buy it under that title. It’s only available as what they are now.

You beta test. You’ve got to see what resonates with people.

13 and Drinking Blood – The Dangers of Female Predators

You’ve got 13 and Drinking Blood – The Dangers of Female Predators.

Banned everywhere. Totally fine when I published it under a woman’s name. Publish it under a man’s name: man can’t write this, banned everywhere.

There’s no sex or drugs or anything in it. I got into the character of a girl that I knew when I was a kid, when I was like 13.

I looked through her eyes when I wrote the book, and it reflects her personality.

When I met her, she was 12. She was dating my neighbor, who was 22.

The story is not about her or anything. It’s just written from her personality.

People misinterpret that, particularly because I’m very good at writing like a girl, and it’s confusing to women that a man could write like that.

Women, it’s called acting.

An author is an actor or an actress. An actor: actors, male; actresses, female. Actor is both sexes, all sexes, whatever. It’s called acting.

It’s amazing how horrifying people are to a fiction author because they can’t make the connection that it’s acting.

When some readers read, they think they’re reading another person’s personal journal because that’s how they write.

Monkey see, monkey do, or comparison syndrome. It’s like, “That’s the way I write, as a personal journal, so the way everybody else writes is the way I write. So I’m going to pin all my problems on other people because they do exactly what I do.”

It’s called projection.

Clara, Ancient Bloodlines, and the Vampire Story

Anyways, 13 and Drinking Blood is a two-part series.

Great-great-great-grandmother Clara is in the 1800s, and she’s in South Dakota. She is just kind of experiencing this weird time of her life.

This mysterious man moves into this farmhouse next to her, and she lives on a farm. She starts having these weird dreams and stuff.

It’s basically like an ancient extraterrestrial alien genetic bloodline that’s being awoken in her through her puberty. It’s waking up.

This mysterious creature has been waiting for that bloodline to come about for thousands of years. He can finally smell it out and comes to find his bloodline, or something like that.

Then jump forward 150 years or so.

Then you go to 13 and Drinking Blood. The great-great-great-granddaughter of Clara gets the NanoRing birth control.

The NanoRing birth-control technology mutates with her blood and turns her into, basically, a vampire.

The males don’t take to the technology, so they all die off. It turns into a society of lesbian vampires.

If you read that book from the point of view of a deranged girl, you’re going to think it’s sexist and perverse.

It’s not. It’s a comedy, and it’s written from the point of view of a lunatic I knew when I was a kid.

If you’re upset about anything you read, you need psychiatric help because you’re reading about yourself. I seem to be very good at drawing that out of people, their projections.

The Pebble Dropper

Then we have The Pebble Dropper, which is a short story.

The Pebble Dropper is an alternate universe of an aunt-cousin situation of these people in an alternate universe of 13 and Drinking Blood.

It’s more of a story that is geared toward young, you know, like tween-teen girl readers.

It’s a gentle story. It’s not written in satire or offensive. It’s meant to be a story for young people.

I write all kinds of things.

I write a nice, elegant romance novel from the point of view of a college girl, and there’s nothing offensive in it. It’s just her doodling in her journal about the guy she’s dreaming about.

I write children’s books, cookbooks, math and physics books, motivational books.

I just happen to write fiction a certain way, and it seems to just kind of tweak people’s souls. It’s fascinating.

I’m told it means you’re doing something right when people stalk you and attack you because of fiction. It means you’re doing something very right.

So, I devoted myself to being a fiction author years ago because of that.

Approximately 50 Hours of Author-Narrated Audiobooks

Anyways, so this is the TIMEWAVES collection.

I’ll be reading this book. It’s going to be, I think, like 50 hours of audio, which is the collection of all these books.

So I’ll be reading this book and simultaneously making the audiobooks for those because those are all in here.

Then I’ll be writing my books live.

Recording the Writing Process

I write my fiction and I record myself writing my fiction so that you guys can’t accuse me of using AI because those of you out there who see something and are just instantaneously like, “This is AI-generated,” chances are it’s not.

You’re just mentally ill. You need help.

I disclose everything I do, whether it’s AI-generated or not.

All of the original work I do is written by me, and I record myself doing it.

It’s funny. I met this guy the other day, and because that picture was drawn with AI—it was my design, I just had AI draw it, and it wasn’t easy. It took many, many, many, many shots to get that thing down.

Everything else I did myself.

He could not let go of that. It was a mental illness. He was having a mental breakdown.

This was like a 24-, 25-, 26-year-old man doing a PhD at UW Wisconsin. He was having a temper-tantrum mental breakdown because of one AI-generated image on a book that I wrote.

Sorry, dude. The picture’s awesome and it sells the crap out of that book because people love it.

But it’s my writing, and I don’t use AI to write myself.

But I’m just telling you, if you’re listening to this and you’re one of these people who are locked into this control issue, the world does not bend to your will, kid.

You do not have godly say over how reality is.

That’s how this kid thought. My God. Talk about a god complex.

He was talking about artificial intelligence, and I’m like, “Bro, that’s between you and yourself.”

He’s like, “No, it’s not. We need to preserve art the way I think it should be preserved because I am God.”

That’s how this kid reacted.

I had another kid who was like 13 act like that, but it was way worse. He was like a little girl who didn’t get her chocolate milk at nap time.
